Seven Months and Four Years
Seven Months and Four Years are two ways to describe our last two days.
Friday, H turned seven months old....
In this picture he actually leaned so far forward on his swing that the toy bar went behind his head. He will not sit in the seat anymore, thank goodness for seatbelts...but he still tries to climb out. Today we actually moved the swing to the basement...Bye bye swing :)
H is growing like a little weed...like always. He is so happy and easy going. He goes everywhere with us and takes everything in, it is so fun. He is still not crawling, but still very close. One of these days he will be.
Talks up a storm, sits up...still loves eating. His favorites are: Sweet Potatoes and Bananas. (never together though :))
And Saturday, J and I celebrated the day we met four years ago, and the day we got engaged three years ago.
We had a date day with no children. Just the two of us went shopping for Christmas, got to have coffee and chat and then had a late lunch at a local Mexican Restaurant. It was a great day. Tonight we "broke" one of my rules...we started getting ready for Christmas. The tree is up (with just the lights, we're waiting to decorate it with the kids) and decorations are all over the house. I LOVE Christmas and am so excited for the season. We spent the evening listening to our favorite Christmas songs and cds. My favorite one is a cd that my friend Anne made me a couple Christmas's back...it has my favorite Christmas song ever..."Happy Christmas/War is Over" by John Lennon on it. It also has a lot more fun songs. J calls the cd my Hip Hop Christmas CD because of the array of modern classic remixes. So fun.
Happy seven months to my little love.
Happy four years to my big love.

chris is refusing to type his comment, so i'm posting his comment for him:
"henry looks like tyler"
i told him you'd be excited if he posted, so there is his post! maybe next time he'll actually type it himself.
