Ten Months Old....tomorrow.
Tomorrow H will be 10 months old...another wow! It feels like I just did his nine month update, how could it already be time for this.
This month H has been BUSY! He now stands up on everything. Furniture. The Gate. His Crib. The Toy Box. He even has started to walk around hanging on to things. He is a speedy crawler especially when he is trying to get away from me.
His top four teeth all broke through at once.
He's expanded his diet more...to toaster sticks (cut into pieces of course) for breakfast, more crackers and cookies with snacks...and he's finally "getting" the concept of the sippy cup.
He is determined. When he sees something he wants, he perseveres.
He is strong. So strong.
He is happy and loving.
Though I wish I could tell you he's started saying Mama...he hasn't. When I say mama, he says DaDa...or TaTa (which we are thinking means Tyler?)
And though I'd love to hear that sweet voice say Mama, I'm just happy he's mine.
And happy he's happy and loving and adorable to boot. He's my son.
In other news this week...
This is M's 100th Day of Kindergarten!
They celebrated being 100 Days Smarter.
...but the biggest mistake I make is the one that most of us make while doing this. I do not live in the moment enough. This will be particularly clear now when the moment is gone, captured only in photographs....And I hope I can remember what we ate, and what we talk about, and how they sound, and how they look when they sleep at night. I hope I am not in a hurry to get on to the next things: dinner, bath, book, bed. I hope I treasure the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less. -Anna Quindlen

It all goes by so quickly. Did Henry make that "mess"? I hope he is learning how to pick up too! Sing the clean up song, that's what I used to do with you.
